"The Guggle is a great option for a get-away in the Cotswolds. The location is convenient to many local points of interest, and easily accessible by car from London (less than 90 minutes). The property itself was great. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with enough pots, pans and silverware to host a large dinner party! Dining at the large kitchen table was part of the charm - it invites lingering over a meal and enjoying conversation. The bedrooms are all very well sized, with some of the most comfortable beds ever experienced. Adequate storage is provided so that you don't have to have anything out in the open, or stare at a suitcase your entire stay. The bathrooms are well appointed, and offer plenty of hot water. The first floor shower is a tad on the small side, but is fine once you get used to it. The shower in the ground floor bathroom off the bedroom is perfect for those that may have trouble negotiating a bathtub. We were provided with excellent service - a cheery welcome, along with a lovely bottle of wine and delicious cake waiting for us upon arrival. A follow-up phone call ensured we had everything that we needed. Northleach is tiny, but you can walk to the local shops and get high quality pies, visit the full-service butcher, and obtain groceries easily. There are also several restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend this property to anyone contemplating a visit to the Cotswolds. The property owners made everything very, very easy and offer a wonderful place to stay."

"We stayed at The Guggle for a family weekend in July 2011 - 6 adults and one infant - and had a wonderful time. All the bedrooms are a generous size and plenty of sofa space in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped and large enough to seat us all comfortably - the home made cake provided for us when we arrived was a delicious bonus. The property was clean and well maintained with good quality linens, towels and crockery. There's a lovely back garden which gets plenty of sun and had a large table for out door dining. Northleach is a beautiful Cotswolds town and the property is very well located. Parking is on the road but we didn't have any difficulty parking two cars in front of the house. Would definitely recommend and would visit again"
Our Stay at The Guggle - 5 out of 5
"The cottage is beautiful and extremely clean. From the outside we did wonder how four adults, two teenagers and one dog would fit – but it was just amazing how much room there is once inside! You are very lucky to own such a beautiful place in such a lovely village. The walks with the dog were fantastic (not sure that he was very happy once he got home where there are not so many hilly fields to walk in!). The local wine bar was always welcoming after a long walk and did not mind us taking the dog in there – nor did a lot of shops in the Cotswolds which was nice. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend the Guggle. "
A Special Place - 5 out of 5
"The Guggle was a very special place for seven friends (in our case) to stay for a long weekend. It's a very attractive cottage with the fabulous feature Guggle room and great living/sleeping spaces. The kitchen's very well appointed and is a great space for communal eating (or cooking) and there's a lovely garden to sit or eat in as well (which we did every morning). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly (and we sensed, though we never had to test it, very available in case of problems) - also, cake and a bottle of wine awaiting our arrival, which was nice. The village itself is also incredibly appealing, with a selection of pubs (& a wine bar) - the Wheatsheaf seemed the nicest, though we didn't eat there, just sat in the garden with a drink or two. There's a beautiful old church and a few handy shops."

"We stayed in the property last weekend and enjoyed it a lot! The Guggle definitely contributed to a great getaway at cotswolds! Very convinient location, very spacious and well equipped! we will never forget the nights next to the fireplace and the peace it brought us after a busy week!"
