Renovation of a Grade II town house with historic importance ...

The Guggle is a 16th Century Grade II listed Cotswold Stone House that has historic importance because of its Cotswold Stone domed ceiling in the The Guggle room.

We completed a full survey of the property prior to purchase and were subsequently asked to complete the property renovation for the new owners.

Kent Construction completed the re-roofing, structural alterations, interior and exterior pointing, and installation of a new kitchen and bathrooms.

Associate company Cotswold Preservation completed the damp rectification including the careful removal and re-laying of a number of historic floors to insert a new damp proof membrane.

The property is now fully restored and is being successfully run as a holiday cottage.
