"Southwold Barn was absolutely perfect. We had a great time with the chickens, Mack (peacock) and Angel (cat). I can’t recommend a stay there highly enough, especially if you have an expert egg poacher and log fire lighter with you! Stunning views, friendly locals and neighbours, with some of the best October weather I can remember."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Southwold Barn last week. The accommodation is first class and ideally suited our family needs. The beds are especially comfortable. The kitchen is particularly well equipped - probably the best self-catering kitchen I have enjoyed in more than 25 years of 'cottage' holidays (although we never did find the butter dish - guess we didn't look in the right place) The outside area could not have been more perfect, with the chickens and peacock for our youngest member to delight in - plus a tiny stream for the first ever wearing of wellingtons."

"We had a lovely weekend in this delightful cottage. Even with 8 of us staying there was plenty of space. The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful setting, it was clean & well maintained. The owner gave us a warm welcome, a delicious cake and supplied help for our technological challenges with the TV!! She even provided wood for the wood burner when we asked. We all loved having the peacock and chickens around. I would highly recommend this cottage, wish we could have had a longer stay!"
Fantastic property and idyllic location - 5 out of 5
As a group of 7 adults and a young baby we'd definitely recommend this property to anyone heading to this area. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by Emma the very friendly owner and shown around the immaculately presented house. All bedrooms are well decorated with quality linen and towels provided & as all rooms are ample size no one gets the short straw either. The open plan kitchen and lounge area has plenty of room for everyone to relax & the board games provided are a nice touch too. Thanks for such a wonderful weekend and hope to stay again in the future.
Blissful weekend away at Southwold Barn - 5 out of 5
Beautiful barn in a peaceful location in the Cotswolds. My friends and I so enjoyed staying in Southwold Barn last weekend. The cottage was fully equipped with all mod cons and some welcoming home comforts. When we arrived we were greeted with a yummy lemon drizzle cake that the owner Emma had made fresh that day. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.
